2012 TEXAS/OKLAHOMA FAIR FACTS

Exhibit Hall Hours…..6pm to 10pm Weeknights and 1pm to 10pm Saturday with the FAIR opening right after the ribbon cutting on Tuesday, SEPT. 11TH at 6pm by Gold Coat Ambassadors of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce & Industry. First Responders will be honored along with the Military & Law Enforcement marking the 11th year since 9/11 attack on America.

Location……………..MPEC at 5th and Burnett (1000 5th St.)

Fair Admission………$5 Adults/$2 Children 12 & younger

Exhibit Booths……….$150 for 10x10. Jo Ann Cermin is T/O Fair General Chairman.

Livestock Shows.......Daily at Bridwell Ag. Building. Horse Shows nightly. Catalog details on internet at www.founderlionsclub.org/fair Click on Livestock Information and Registration.

Creative Arts & Home Skills..............Each item entered is $2. Entries accepted Monday (only), Sept. 11th from 8am to 6:30pm in the MPEC Exhibit Hall, and displayed thru Saturday. Direct questions to Jo Ann Cermin, 940-228-5837.

Military Night..............All Military families (Active/Reserve/Retired) admitted to Fair Grounds FREE on Grand Opening night, Tuesday, Sept. 11th.

Arm Band Nights........Ride all the Evans Shows Carnival/Midway rides for a $15 armband (nightly) Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.

FREE Attractions... Mini-Dog Races (Fido-500), Exotic Animal Petting Zoo, Exotic Animal Stage Show, Clowns with their 1910 Circus Calliope, demonstrations, & other attractions, plus live Music on the Midway Stage and local entertainers inside on the Exhibit Hall Stage. Rider High School Band night is Tues/Sept. 11th to perform at opening ceremony and 1/2 hour on stage with part of opening night ticket sales donated to the band going to London, England at Christmas for parade and concert for The Queen.
